Removal- Unwanted hair can be a distressing problem for some men
and women and the removal of it can be a challenge. While conventional
methods such as waxing or tweezing are effective, they are only short
term soloutions. These processes have to be repeated in the long term.
An effective long term soloution is using intense pulse light (IPL)
to gently remove unwanted hair. IPL technology is clinically proven
to safely treat unwanted hair with permanent reduction.
Facial Thread Veins- Facial thread veins are red or purple broken
veins and capillaries, which appear on the cheeks and nose. They occur
on both male and female skin for a number of reasons including age,
alcohol, stress trauma, smoking and sun exposure. While they are harmless,
many sufferers choose to treat their facial thread veins for cosmetic
reasons.
Pigmentation- Whatever our complexion, our skin contains melanin
to give it colour. However, it may sometimes become concentrated in
one area of the skin, causing pigmented lesions that can be dark and
noticable. These high concentrations of melanin can occur for a number
of reasons, including age and over exposure to the sun.
Age Spots- Exposure to the sun can cause our skin to age faster,
making us look much older than we feel! Age spots occur on aging or
sun damaged skin and can be found on the hands, back, chest and arms.
They usually occur because of melanin, which is in our skin to give
it colour. If the melanin becomes concentrated in one area of the skin,
it can cause pigmented spots that can be dark and noticeable.
Lines & Wrinkles- As we get older, our skin becomes drier
and changes texture. It also loses elasticity, which causes fine lines
and wrinkles. Exposing your skin to the suns harmful UV rays speeds
up the aging proess and can cause you to develop lines and wrinkles
much earlier.
